We want Coastal Media to be accessible and welcoming to as many people as possible.
That applies both to our website and to the events, training and support we provide.
We know that people's needs are different, and we won't always get everything right. If something is making it difficult for you to access our website, information or services, please let us know and we'll do our best to help.
ACCESSIBILITY STATEMENT
This statement was last updated on 14th September 2026.
Using our website
We aim to make our website easy to use and understand.
When creating and updating the site, we try to:
-
use clear, straightforward language;
-
structure pages with meaningful headings;
-
provide sufficient contrast between text and backgrounds;
-
make text easy to read;
-
add alternative text to meaningful images where appropriate;
-
make links and buttons clear;
-
avoid relying solely on colour to communicate important information; and
-
make the website usable across different devices and screen sizes
Our website is built using Wix, so some aspects of accessibility depend on the underlying platform and any third-party tools or content we use.
We regularly update the website and will continue to consider accessibility as we make changes.
Events, training and Focus Sessions
We want everyone to participate in Coastal Media events and services wherever reasonably possible.
If you're attending a Clarity Day, Inspiration Session, Focus Session, Community event or other activity and have an accessibility requirement, please let us know. We'll make reasonable efforts to accommodate individual needs and, where possible, it's helpful if you can tell us about these in advance.
Our training is designed to be delivered as a combination of spoken presentation, discussion, practical exercises and supporting visual material. Presentation slides, especially those at our free events, are primarily used as a visual aid to support the session and are not normally intended to be read as standalone documents.
We take reasonable steps to make our presentation materials accessible, including considering readability, contrast and the way visual information is explained during a session. Where a particular format creates a barrier for you, please let us know and we'll consider what reasonable alternative or adjustment we can provide.
Some of our activities take place at third-party venues, so there may be physical accessibility considerations outside our direct control. If you're unsure whether a particular venue will meet your needs, please contact us before booking or attending and we'll find out what we can.
If you need information in another format
If you have difficulty accessing information on our website or would find another format more useful, please contact us.
Where reasonably possible, we'll provide the information in an alternative way.
Something not working?
If you find something on our website that is difficult to use, encounter an accessibility problem at one of our events, or think there's something we could do better, we'd genuinely like to know.

We'll consider your request and do our best to find a practical solution.
We'll review this statement as our website, venues and services develop and update it where necessary.
