Small Business Focus Sessions
You've completed a Small Business Clarity Day. You've explored how the different pieces of your business and marketing fit together and started building your own plan.
A Focus Session is where we take that thinking further.
You'll have dedicated one-to-one time with us to work through your priorities, solve a particular problem, explore an opportunity or simply work out what comes next.

From clarity to focus
There's a reason Focus Sessions come after the Clarity Day.
By the time we sit down together, you'll already understand the thinking behind our approach. You'll have your Business Clarity Workbook and we'll have a shared language for talking about your business.
That means we don't need to spend valuable time covering the foundations.
We can get straight into your business.

Bring us the messy stuff
Half-formed ideas. Competing priorities. Something you've been putting off. A decision you keep going backwards and forwards on. A plan that made sense six months ago but doesn't quite fit anymore.
A Focus Session gives you somewhere to put all of that.
We'll listen, ask questions, bring an outside perspective and challenge your thinking when it's useful.
Then we'll help you turn it into something you can actually move forward with.
What a focus session looks like
You don't need another generic plan for how a small business should work.
You've got the foundations and you've started building your plan. Now we can concentrate on yours.
Bring your workbook. Bring your questions. Bring the things you haven't quite figured out yet.
We'll provide the space, the coffee and a fresh pair of eyes.
Before the day
We'll ask you what's currently happening in the business and what you'd like to get from the session. We'll do our homework too, so we arrive knowing something about what we're going to be discussing.
At the barn
We'll spend the session working through your business together.
There might be Post-it notes. There will almost certainly be scribbling. We might look at your website, customer journey, numbers, messaging or marketing. We might spend half an hour interrogating one idea.
The session goes where the useful conversation takes us.
Before you leave
We'll bring everything back together.
What have we learned? What have you decided? What needs doing next? What can wait? And what have we decided you don't need to do at all?
You'll leave knowing where to put your attention next.
What's on your mind?
There's no standard agenda for a Focus Session, because no two businesses arrive with quite the same questions.
You might want to explore:
A problem
Something isn't working and you can't quite put your finger on why.
Your marketing
You want to sharpen your messaging, review your channels or understand why something isn't delivering.
Growth or change
The business is evolving and you need to work out what needs to evolve alongside it.
An opportunity
You've got an idea and want to work out whether, where and how it fits.
Your customer journey
You want to look at what happens from someone first discovering you to becoming a customer.
Your priorities
There are twelve things you could do. You need to work out which two actually matter.
