The Coastal Media Community
Coastal Media brings together small business owners from across Norfolk to learn, share ideas, make useful connections and just have a good chat with someone who gets it. Most of what we do as a community is completely free. There will be no sales pitch (from us or anyone else there). Just a friendly and supportive community of other Norfolk small business owners. We always hold back a small number places at our events for first-time attendees. If you are new to Coastal Media and have any questions, you can contact us using the link below.
Our free monthly workshops and meet-ups
Our free small business meet-ups are the easiest way to meet the Coastal Media community.
These are monthly events held at the Cliftonville in Cromer. They combine a workshop from either the Coastal Media team or an external speaker with plenty of time to talk, share ideas and meet other small business owners.
Each month we explore a different topic, in the past these have ranged from how AI is affecting search, to PR, to messaging and tone of voice, to capturing photos on your smartphone. They're relaxed, practical and completely free to attend, you can either come for the workshop, the meet-up, or both.
Please note these events almost always book-up well in advance and booking is opened to newsletter subscribers first so sign up to be the first to know.

Wellbeing mornings and co-working @ The Space
Once a month we head to The Space in Burston for something a little different.
Our Small Business Wellness Mornings with The Space are about making some time for yourself as well as your business. A chance to step away from the laptop, slow things down and spend a morning with other small business owners.
The day starts with a wellbeing session in the studio at The Space. This is often Pilates, yoga, or meditation, each led by a different local teacher, and every session has been completely beginner-friendly. After the wellbeing session, we’ll head into The Space’s cafe where free tea and coffee available.
From there, the day is completely up to you. Some people head home after the morning session. Others stay for lunch and a chat. Some stay all afternoon and make use of the free co-working space. There’s no right way to do it. The idea is simply to give yourself a bit of space to breathe, reset and spend some time around other people who understand what it’s like to run a small business.
